Color Remover can remove a permanent or semi-permanent dye. It is safe and does not affect the natural chromomolecules of our hair. Color Remover does not bleach (decoloration) the natural hair color. It works by shrinking the dye's chromomolecules and removing them with thorough rinsing. If bleaching and dyeing have been performed, Color Remover will remove the dye and our hair will return to the bleached shade. It is possible that we may need to repeat the entire process up to three times if there are many layers of dye in our hair.

Instructions for Use

1. Apply COLOR REMOVER to dry hair.

2. In a non-metallic bowl, mix equal parts of REDUCER PART 1 AND ACTIVATOR PART 2 (mix the appropriate amount, depending on the length of the hair).

3. Close the bottle immediately after use.

4. Wearing suitable gloves and using a brush, apply the mixture quickly and evenly to the section of the scalp you are interested in (apply the mixture immediately after preparation, because its effectiveness decreases over time). If using an applicator, shake it vigorously for 45 to 60 seconds so that the mixture becomes homogeneous.

5. Gently cover the hair with a plastic shower cap or film. The action time is 10 minutes with a heat source or 20 minutes under normal conditions.

6. After the action time has passed, rinse with plenty of lukewarm water for 5 minutes and wash the hair with a neutral shampoo.

7. After rinsing and towel-drying the hair, perform the verification test: Apply 10-volume (3%) peroxide to a strand of hair and let it sit for 3-5 minutes.

8. Rinse the strand and check the result. It is possible, depending on the nature of the dye molecules, that the hair may reach an unacceptable degree of color. In this case, repeat the actions described in points 2 to 7 over the entire scalp (the hair can be damp, just towel-dried). However, you must not repeat this process more than 2 to 3 times consecutively. If the result is what you want, perform the actions in point 7 over the entire scalp and then rinse the hair with plenty of lukewarm water for 5 minutes.

9. Apply an instant conditioner to smooth the porous texture of the hair.

10. Dry the hair with a hairdryer (medium/low temperature).

11. Dye the hair with a new oxidative dye, following the instructions provided with the product. We recommend applying a color one tone lighter than the one you desire.

PARTIAL CORRECTION (COLOR LIGHTENING): In case you want to achieve a partial correction (to lighten a reflex or a cosmetic dye that turned out too dark), follow the actions in point 2, adding to the standard mixture an equal amount of shampoo (e.g., 10 ml of component 1 (REDUCER), 10 ml of component 2 (ACTIVATOR), and 20 ml of shampoo). Apply the mixture to damp hair (only on the parts you are interested in). Massage the hair until it lathers. Leave the product on until you reach the desired tone. Under no circumstances should you exceed 20 minutes. Rinse with plenty of lukewarm water for 5 minutes. Then apply a conditioner. If you do not achieve the desired result, repeat the same process. Then, dry the hair.

TIPS FOR AN EXCELLENT RESULT: The product is effective on oxidative dyes. If you are not sure about the type of dye used, we recommend doing a preliminary test on a strand. If mixed dyes were used, the reflections will not be fully neutralized and there is a possibility of streaks appearing. In this case, we recommend applying the conventional bleaching method with 10-volume (3%) peroxide. The product has excellent results both on recent dyes and old ones.

COLOR REMOVER does not offer a guaranteed total removal of cosmetic dye. The test with emulsified peroxide allows you to determine the percentage of pigments that were actually removed. If the color tone is very dark, consecutive applications of COLOR REMOVER may be needed (maximum 3: between these, the use of emulsified peroxide is not necessary). The process must always be completed with the application of a new oxidative dye. For choosing the right shade and the potential use of mixtures to correct color changes, you must remember that the base color upon which the application will be made is the one achieved with the last passage of peroxide on the hair prepared with COLOR REMOVER.
